How should I store latex I won't wear for a few months?

Winter means half my latex is going into storage until the warmer events come back around. I want to put it away properly so I do not open the box in spring to a sticky, discoloured mess.

What is the actual routine people follow? I know it needs to be clean and completely dry first, but after that I am unsure. Do I hang it or fold it? Powder the inside, the outside, or both? And what should I keep it away from, besides the obvious sunlight? I have room in a wardrobe or a deep drawer, so I can do whichever is kinder to the rubber.
