Do you honestly wash it after every single wear?

I have had a few pieces for about six months now and I want to know what people really do rather than what the care instructions say.

Every guide says wash after each wear. Every time I have worn something for an hour in a cool room and barely broken a sweat, that feels like a lot of faff for very little. On the other hand I would rather not wreck a good garment through laziness and then go around blaming the quality of it.

So, honestly: full wash every time, or is a rinse enough sometimes? And what are people using to wash with, because I have seen a lot of conflicting opinions about soap.
