I keep coming back to a translucent piece and then losing my nerve. In photographs it looks incredible and also like it hides nothing whatsoever, and I genuinely cannot tell how much of that is the lighting they have used.
The event I would wear it to is fairly dim, mostly low lighting with a few brighter areas, so I suspect the answer is that it depends on where I stand.
For people who own something sheer: how exposed does it actually feel in a room full of people? Does the gauge change how much shows, and does a tinted one behave differently from a clear one? Trying to work out if this is a nerve I need to build or a purchase I will regret.
