Travelling to an event for the first time, and it turns out I have given no thought whatsoever to how the clothes get there.

Everything I own lives flat in a drawer with tissue between the pieces, which was clearly designed by someone who never leaves the house. A suitcase involves folding, pressure, and several hours of things sliding around.

What do people do? Does folding leave permanent creases in latex the way it would in a delicate fabric? Should it go in hand luggage or does it not matter? And is there anything you would definitely not pack it next to?
